On 20th March 2010, Nova Bicycle Industries
organised the Punjab dealers meet at their
Registered Office & Works at Ludhiana.
95% distinguished dealers of Punjab attended the
function. Mr. H.M.S Pahwa, CMD, initiated the
proceedings with a Prayer to Almighty for his
Blessings to all Dealers, Management, Staffs and
work-force of the company. He also paid homage
to founders of the company Mr. Hansraj Pahwa,
Mr. Jagat Singh Pahwa, Mr. Sohan Lal Pahwa and
Sh. Inderjit Singh Pahwa. In his welcome address
he explained the broad policy of the company and
its future expansion programmes and introduced
the management and staff to dealers. Mr. Rohit
Pahwa, C.E.O, son of Mr. H.M.S Pahwa informed

company produced nearly 2 lac bikes of different models/
sizes and launched Six New Models. While addressing the dealers Rohit Pahwa said that nearly 35 thousand
bikes during current financial year have been supplied to Government of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The
company has also supplied good quantity of bicycles to various State Government including Punjab, Rajasthan, |

Chhattisgarh etc. In its expansion programme the company has already introduced latest paint technology for
overall quality improvement. |

Mr. S. K. Chakraborty, GM-Marketing in the interaction session replied to all the technical questions raised by
dealers and explained the various steps taken for quality control and apprised that as a recognition of quality,
the Government of Gujarat has placed Nova as one of the top 5 brands in India. The dealers had a round of the
factory and observed different manufacturing processes of Bicycle and its parts with keen interest. |

The dealers expressed their happiness with the quality of products as well as the service rendered by the
company. On behalf of the dealers present Mr. Som Nath Gupta of M/s Jindal Cycle/Sirhind and Mr. Sunil Kumar of M/s Sunil & Sons/Dhariwal spoke highly about the company and conveyed their thanks |

assurance that the sales in Punjab region will be
increased manifold in coming years. M/s Kanwal Cycle/
Jalandhar were presented the trophy for best dealer
followed by M/s Master Cycle, Mukatsar and M/s
Sunil & Sons, Dhariwal. Best performance Award for
regular lifting of goods and making payment within 24
hours, was given to M/s Manjit Traders/Talwandi Bhai.
The dealers present were honoured by Mr. H.M.S
Pahwa and Mr. Rohit Pahwa by presenting them
attractive gifts as a token of love and respect.
The interactive question/answer session was held in a
very cordial atmosphere and was followed by Lucky
draw.
The entire function was very well conducted by Mr.
Anoop Walia, the General Manager-Sales, of the
company. The dealers enjoyed the light moments of
humour and jokes of Mr Walia. Mr. G.S. Arora, Area
Manager, Punjab, conveyed the vote of thanks and
the dealers get-together ended with lunch. |

Hi-Bird Cycles a unit of Safari Group of Industries has relaunched their Shakti Range
of models with ISI marketing. All models of Hi-Bird Shakti Range of Bicycles now
are being supplied with ISI marketing on major components like Frame, Fork, Front
Mudguards and Rear Mudguards. Mr. Sharma said “Hi-Bird Safari Group is know
allover the world for quality products, and the company was awarded National Award
for Quality by Government of India in the year 2006.” He also mentioned that Safari
Bikes Ltd. is the only bicycle manufacturer from India which was awarded two
Quality Award from advanced part of the world Europe First in the year 2000 in Paris
(France) with “International Europe Award for Quality” and second in the year 2001
with “Platinum Star Award for Quality” in Geneva, Switzerland. Safari Bikes Ltd. is
making more than 125 various designs and model of bicycles offering largest variety
for all segments. Company has manufacturing capacity of 18 lacs bicycles per annum. |
