In order to cater the demand of Bicycle Industry, Sonico brand bicycle components were first launched in the year 1958 under the great stewardship of Late Shri. M. M. Soni. Later on Mr. Varinder Soni joined the organization and launched a substantial expansion programme to include manufacture of complete range of Chainwheels, i.e. Single, double and multi-speed, which were lapped up by local exporters as well as general consumers throughout India in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, etc.

Brand equity of Sonico Enterprises is not confined to Chainwheels as they are also marketing wide range of Sonico Bicycle Components. and have started manufacturing Single speed Freewheels.

In the year 2004, Sahil Soni (Son of Mr. Varinder Soni) joined the company to give additional energy to all its operations throughout the country and abroad. Mr. Varinder Soni says, “Our quality is highly accepted by major OEMs and today we are manufacturing vide range of Chainwheels in big volumes”.

There is, no doubt about the quality of Sonico components. As far as the strength of the company concerned, they are qualitatively and quantitatively a strong brand which is very well known in the industry.

Their present capacity is ten thousand Freewheels per day. The company is using latest machines and sophisticated technology and therefore, the products coming out now are capable enough to challenge any standard in the competitive world!
