- Bikes in Russia:
It has become evident over the last 14 years at MISS that the bike market is expanding very quickly. Official figures estimate that the growth of cycling market could reach 25% to 30% in 2006. In addition, the Russian cycling market is dominated by international suppliers with around 85% of product being imported. The catalyst for growth is the increase in disposable income in disposable income, the rise of Russian middle class and recognition of the health benefits of active leisure pursuits. Consequently, for the first time in 2007, bike suppliers and buyers will benefit from their own dedicated exhibition – the Moscow International Cycling Show.

The bicycle sector has always been a major part of the Moscow International Sports Show . In 2007 MICS will still be co-located with MISS to take advantage of joint promotion to Russia’s growing number of sports retailers, leisure establishments and sports clubs.
